SMB

The SMB and SMC (SubMiniature B, C) connectors correspond to miniature connectors based on the same internal design. The only difference between both series of coaxial connectors SMB and SMC , is the male-female coupling mechanism, which will provide different mechanical and electrical characteristics. In the SMB series, the male-female coupling is done by means of a fast “snap-on” system.

RF coaxial connectors SMB

It is mainly used in connections inside high-frequency equipment, where there is a high density of connections and where the coupling mechanism facilitates interconnection. Coaxial connectors SMB are suitable for applications up to 4 GHz.

There are SMB connectors for standard or special cables (flexible, semi-rigid, rigid…). Different shape versions: straight, angled, SMD mounting…. And as for the cable assembly, we have welded versions, cable gland, crimp…
